Policy wording
1. The Local Housing Need for South Gloucestershire for the period 2026/27 to 2040/41 is 20,423 new homes, or 1,362 per annum.
2. The 5 year housing land supply assessment throughout the plan period will be based on the housing requirement of 20,423 homes.
3. To ensure this number of new homes is delivered, the Local Plan makes provision for the supply of 22,573 new homes over the plan’s 15 year period.
